Our boys (8,10,12) have enjoyed this book as a read aloud with me trying to insert a French-canadian accent. I thought the author did a great job of bringing a perspective of this time period from 3 very different sides, Native, English and French. (Our boys want to know if anyone has written the story from Sylvanus'point of view.)
